FAQ

We now have a new policy for surrenders :

our shelter does not take in feral cats ,they are unadoptable. If a stray comes in it will cost $110 per cat and $30 per kitten for us to accept them, this helps off set the cost of spaying, neutering, and vaccines. If someone gives up a family pet they need to show proof of spay, and or neuter as well as proof of up to date vaccinations.

Adult cat - $110.00
Kitten - minimum $ 30.00 donation, can give more

The adults are already spayed or neutered, but kitten's under 8 weeks are not done, it is the responsibility of the owner to have them done or they can pay us 110.00 and at 8 weeks they can be done which is the best way to go really.

Q- What happens if my cat does not get adopted

A- All though its our goal to adopt out everyone this is not always the case, so if cats don`t get adopted they will live there until they do it is their forever home.

Q- Can i come and visit my cat if it`s not adopted

A- This is not usually a good idea both for cat and owner but we do allow it from time to time most times you can call, but please remember you released the cat to P.F.F.L.

Q- What if i find a stray around my house

A- Leave it alone it probably belongs to someone and if not the authorities will look after it or if you can catch it have it spayed/neutered and put it back.

Q-I found baby kittens in my yard what do i do with them

A- Leave them alone and watch for mommy to come back she is probably moving them or out looking for food.

Q- What do we do if we find an injured animal

A- You need to take it to a vet to be seen

Q- We found a baby bird ,skunk, raccoon etc. what do we do with it.
